    - Enfant, j'ai toujours préféré rester derrière le but. " You will nerver walk alone Duncan !

"English Version of this Interview !"

For some time, you can not escape the phenomenon that invaded the group, Duncan! He is now used to a summary with photo for the great pleasure of the club every Sunday night! It is with pleasure that I took the game of the interview to better know Duncan!

  • I'll let you introduce yourself in a few words! your age? your passions? Since when did you arrive at Uzel?
    - I'm going to be 55 next year, I like most sports (Football / Rugby / Rugby League / Cricket). I arrived at the Pot De Vin in Uzel in February 2012! I have been in the police in London for 32 years and a half from 16 and 1/2 years old, until I retire!
  • You say we love football! How did you know the club and since when are you? When did you see the club play for the first time?
    - I first went into the 2014-15 season, I struggled to find the information at first, but an Englishman from St. Hervé, 'Sid' on the Cyclists used to drink with the team and played billiards. This year after joining the club's Facebook group, I only missed one game, the cup match against the Top Corlay. I needed to feel part of Uzel, it was something I missed.
  • Which memory is the most important for you with the club? a goal? a gesture? a player ?
    - Jean-Baptiste running towards me after marking! that's a good time! the moments of laughter with Maxime Teno online on Facebook, nice messages of Civodul Nomah too (Ludovic Hamon), the emotion after the match against Quessoy! The fact that I can communicate with you in English and explain to me too! But I like to look beyond the main players, I look at the young winger who has been on the bench for Team A and watched his struggles wishing him the best and watch the non-aligned players that form a team / squad. I like to look also at the left-back (Etienne Jeglot)!
  • Denis, emblematic figure of the club came to meet you during a match and have a drink with you! What did you tell yourself ?!
    - We spoke on the facebook page and organized a meeting for a drink at the game, we did not say many things because my French is worse than Denis English !!!!! But he told me The left back was coming back from Nantes for every game! We both think that the sport should be fun and not just for 90 minutes on a Sunday afternoon.
  • And why are you still behind the opposing goal? a habit ? a ritual?
    - Child, I always preferred to stay behind the goal. When I watched my home team in Scarborough, I always changed goals at half-time, it's just that I want to be one of you but I know I will always be a stranger. - False Duncan, you'll never walk alone! "You will nerver walk alone Duncan! - And even at Guingamp, I'm always behind the goal. You can also have a word in the Goalkeeper's ear. I liked that the left back of the Quessoy gets angry with me if he insults me, he does not do his job, does not it? - That is true !
  • Finally, some very quick questions. your favorite club? Your favourite meal ? your favorite beer? your favourite colour ? what do you prefer in football? what do you hate most about football?
    - Leeds United in Professional / ASUM and Ashville in Amateur, a good big steak with fries, the Leffe, yellow. Watch people work, fight, cheer and support each other for 97 minutes each week and watch this, on the field, on the bench, and in the podium. The Worst is the money in the professional game, it 's Obscene, another reason why I prefer to watch the ASUM, real people, real and local!
  • And finally, I leave you the last word to express yourself to the club, the players, the leaders and your expectations for this season!
    - WOW! With money, a few things could be done to make the stadium more "ASUM" - I like Logos, Banners - a board to display teams, welcome visiting fans too. But as a foreigner, I would not dare to offend ASUM leaders, running a sports club is very difficult. It's a great little club, you have to decide what your own expectations are - where do you want to go - you have SPIRIT - you have good players - I'd like to see you in the first two places in April. I would like to personally thank ASUM for making my Sunday afternoon so much fun and thanks to all those who say hello and love my Facebook posts, they make me all feel better as a person.
  • Thank you very much Duncan!
    - No problem ! If I can help someone from ASUM with English problems or a holiday in the UK or advice to work there - just ask me.
